We are located in the Historical Center of Cusco, next to San Pedro Church, so that every touristic attraction in the City is within walking distance (A few blocks away).
The design of our Hotel is Colonial and Inca, filled with Cusco Crespo, also known as Cusco baroque that can be appreciated in the detailed wood carvings made by specialized Andean carpenters. Some of the artistic pieces that you will find are wood vases, armors, Inca faces, corn and Andean landscapes.
You can find other elements of the Incan culture in the Hotel stone carved foundations, and in the entrance to our Lobby through a door of two jambs, that looks just like the Sun Gate in Machu Pichu, known as “Intipunku”.
There is also a replica of the famous stone of 12 angles known as “Hatun Rumiyoq”, that was part of the Inca Roca palace, that now belongs to the Archbishop´s Palace.
Regarding our name “Cusco Jungle”, this was conceived by the Hotel founders who are originally from the Peruvian jungle, and their desire was to express that Peru has a great diversity, not only of ecosystems, but of culture, architecture, gastronomy and spiritual expressions.
